We’ve got David Tronzo, the master of the slide guitar with us this week. Professor Tronzo has broken the sound barrier on the slide, using extended techniques and a masterful command of the instrument, to extend the reach of slide guitar far beyond the musical idioms most folks typically associate with it, and it has earned him accolades like being voted one of top ten jazz guitarists by Musician Magazine, and one of the best experimental guitarists by Guitar Player.
